IQANrun 7.06.18 (25 Apr 2026)  [top]
Changes and new features
  IQ-13506 Customizable graph background color
  New option added.
  IQ-13745 MD5: major update of module firmware
  Upgrade of MD5 to 7.06 requires 7.05 in module.
During update, all logs in the MD5 will be erased.
After updating MD5 to 7.06, downgrade is not possible.
Clones taken from MD5 7.06 or newer can only be sent to module with 7.06 or newer.
  IQ-13937 Always send firmware before application
  If an update is interrupted while sending firmware, the module is now able to restart with its previous application.

  IQ-12680 Windows task bar thumbnail preview wrong when opening multiple forms
  Fixed.
  IQ-13379 Crash when starting new script (via command line) while running another script
  Fixed.
  IQ-13440 Clicking main form thumbnail on Windows taskbar does not bring it to front

  IQ-13644 Script hangs after login
  Fixed.
  IQ-13647 Occasional crash when switching to Bluetooth tab in connect dialog
  Fixed.

  IQ-13831 IQANrun start measure in application view grayed out
  Start measure changed to always enabled (unless when already measuring). If measure is not possible, a dialog is displayed showing the reason why.
  IQ-13839 User defined measure item min/max is lost when stopping graph measure
  Fixed.

Bug fixes
  IQ-13650 Connection lost with MC4 on upgrade to 7.05 in multi-master system
  Could happen in large multi-master systems when upgrading from a version prior to 7.05.Fixed.
  IQ-13778 PEAK adapter not working in 7.05
  PCAN-USB adapter without FD did not work in 7.05. Fixed.

  IQ-13585 Crash when running script to get clone without connection
  Fixed.
  IQ-13676 G12 FW: problem connecting to system with disabled G1x
  G12 firmware updated to 2.01.8, fixing a bug in 2.01.6 that caused connection to pre-7.05 systems to fail if a G1x was not enabled in the system layout.

  Added open project/settings in project viewer window. Now also supports drag/drop directly from file explorer to project viewer window.
  60750 Show project name in login dialog when target system is in safe mode
  When target system is not running its application, the login dialog will list all saved user logins with corresponding project name.

  Implemented.
  61527 Add IQANrun version to script report header
  Implemented.
  61713 Configurable CAN speed
  CAN speed can now be selected in connect dialog, options are 250 and 500 kbps. Must match the arbitration speed of the diagnostics bus.
  61751 Request and get IQANrun user credentials via CLI
  Use -reqpwd <filename> to create a safe password request file. Import safe passwords already exists using the -open switch.
  61811 Improve missing sample
  Interpolated values shown, with "missing sample" text after.
  61906 Add option to auto-connect
  If activated, IQANrun will try to connect to last system when initiating an operation that requires a connection.

  Implemented.

  The left panel can now be manually resized individually for each tab (Menu, System, Logs, Measure and Adjust).

  Tab, arrows, space and enter keys can now be used to move focus, select and activate list items. Support for accelerator and shortcut keys. See user manual for more details.

  Dialog box was shown (but minimized due to -verysilent) and had to be manually closed for script to continue. Fixed so that no user interaction is needed if running silent.

  IQANrun froze when Min > Max for a graph item. Fixed.
  60301 IQANrun seems to be frozen when getting large log
  Performance greatly improved when getting very large logs.
